TRASH PICKUP SCHEDULE
.Regular Trash pickup of the blue 96 gallon trash carts for Ivy Hills is currently Thursday of each week, except for holiday weeks recognized by the City of Indianapolis, when pickup is delayed one day. Trash is collected five days a week beginning at 7:00 AM. On your collection day, be sure to place your trash at the curb or in the alley before 7 a.m. to ensure proper pickup. Heavy Trash pickup is once a month on any trash collection day for each household. Heavy trash can consist of 2 large items placed next to your regular container or disassembled bikes, swing sets, non-freon applliances, and household furnishings that can be lifted by one person into the truck. For those homes that elect to add optional 96 gallon recycling services, pick up is every other Thursday for the blue carts with the yellow lids. LEAF SEASON INFORMATION
- Each household is permitted 40 bags of leaves for weekly disposal.
- Place leaves in large plastic trash bags and place near your regular trash cart.
- Place the leaf bags out by 7 a.m. on your regular trash day.
- Keep all leaf bags at least three feet away from cart collection areas to ensure trucks can service the carts.
